For two years, Kaizen-ISL partnered with Charter Schools USA to strengthen instructional coherence in the Florida, North Carolina and Louisiana regions. Together, we worked to make the cycle of planning, classroom observation, actionable feedback, and follow-up a consistent part of instructional leadership.
Deputy Hamlin McMurran and Curriculum Specialist Georgia Waddups (Jacksonville, Florida) learned the process, loved the process, and now live the process. Their commitment helped solidify the Kaizen-ISL Instructional Coherence Protocol into a sustainable model adopted across the network.
