Dr. Marilyn A. Doyle is the CEO and founder of Kaizen-Instructionally Strong Leadership, LLC. a company she founded in November 2014. Her professional career began as a mathematics teacher at West Orange High School (Orange County Public Schools). She has successfully held numerous positions: special education staffing specialist, alternative education coordinator, administrative dean, high school assistant principal, middle school principal, associate superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and executive area director (Principal Supervisor).
Dr. Doyle also spent 5 of her 35 years in the Lake County School system as the Executive Director for Academic Services (Curriculum and Instruction, Professional Development and School Transformation) and Chief of Administration (Leadership Development and Principal Supervisor). And mostly recently, Deputy Superintendent for Teaching & Learning at Broward County Public Schools and Senior VP at Charter Schools USA.
Through these experiences Dr. Doyle has successfully led many initiative to support school reform and close the achievement gap. She continues to mentor and coach school leaders and presents at corporate and faith-based events.
Some of her accomplishments include: Common Core Leadership Award from the Center for College and Career Readiness, Chicago, Illinois in June 2012; National Curriculum Innovative Leader of the Year Award from the Council of Great City Schools, San Francisco, California in July 2010; Middle School Principal of the Year at Orange County Public School, Tampa, Florida in July 2005, to name a few.
On a personal note, she lives by the Japanese philosophy of KAIZEN, her motto is “Go hard or Go Home”! She is a christian, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, incorporated, and she enjoys traveling, shopping and wellness/fitness.
