East Ridge High School was already an A school when Principal Julie Lueallen partnered with Kaizen-ISL. Her goal was to keep improving while preparing the next generation of school leaders.
Through the Kaizen-ISL Leadership Lab, seven assistant principals strengthened their instructional leadership practice and prepared for the responsibilities of a principal. The work gave them opportunities to examine evidence, sharpen feedback, and lead with greater clarity and confidence.
East Ridge maintained its A grade, and its school-grade points increased from 657 to 663. That progress reflects the collective work of the school’s leaders, teachers, and students, and Principal Lueallen’s commitment to developing leadership capacity alongside school performance.
